New GAZ Volga.

The tailend looks more like the Sebring than the Front/Sides, but it looks good overall. Quality is likely to be pure crap though.

Pure crap by US standards means it will be highest quality Russian car ever made 😀

hehe, ya probably

I remember reading about this a while back, they didn't steal the sebring design, they bought the tooling from Chrysler when they were redoing their plants for their new cars.

Exactly. They finally gave up on those atrocious Volgas that are 30 years behind American cars, and instead decided to just buy the tooling for 5-10 year old ones.

Nah, thats domestic russian design... has 50's american look to it, but it wasn't reverse engineered or anything.

Just like Chrysler!

Worse, much worse.

Is that possible? Maybe Yugo, but not sure who else occupies that subterranean level of 'quality'.

*disclaimer* : Dodge Trucks are actually pretty decent. It's their cars that are god-awful.

Very possible. At least a Chrysler works for 60k Miles before falling apart. Some cars begin falling apart as they leave the assembly line.

lol, point taken. Though my Neon (yes, I was stupid enough to buy one) had an EGR valve failure almost immediately, and died with about 60k on the clock (the dreaded cracked head syndrome). Of course, the Neon may be the worst American car of the past 20 years.

It would be rather interesting if the Volga turned out to be decent, but odds 90/10 that it isn't/won't be?
