New Gateway Logo (for real)

I found this hularious... it's not out yet but Gateway is changing it's logo and it's name for it. I used to work for them for a while and I stopped by to see some friends they told me this and showed me the brochure. It basically looks like a guitar pick turned sideways and a power button symbol both turned sideways to make a G. I'll have to draw a picture of it cause it's hard to explain.

But best of all they are calling it the G-Spot, My fiance is gonna call up and make a couple prank calls (asking them to where her G-spot is)

Their advertising people are messed up. First they have a large passenger jet flying over (looks like into) two large buildings in their Sept. 2001 PC Shopper ad. Then they send out fake snow for the olympics (during the antrax scare) Now this

Seeing as how that ad was probably done months in advance how is it at all messed up that an ad running in a September 2001 magazine (likely printed in early August) shows what you describe above?

Right, and it was actually HP that did the photo for them, it was the same photo that came from their Laserjet promotional packets that year.

I didn't mean that they were messed up... just that their timing was bad and is pretty bad well any way here's the link to their new logo (keep in mind that I have no artistic talent) so it's pretty ugly but you get the idea Logo
