Hi All,

With some help from the hardware forum, I have decided on a setup for my new machine.

AMD 3500+
DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra D
1024mb (512x2) TwinMos 3200 DDR 400
ATI X800XL 256mb pcie
Antec Neo Power 480W PSU
Antec Super Lanboy case

Is the case too small ?
Would additonal cooling be required ?
Cheers :)

No the case's size is fine.

No the included front and rear 120mm fans are enough. If you wanted to, you could buy better fans but you don't really need to.

Why would the case be "too small?" Unless you are setting up a server with more than 3 optical drives or 4+ HDs, no.

The case size will be fine, the cases are very cheap & flimsy though. The side panel bends like warm butter

Superlanboy is pretty cramped. Its not too small, but it is cramped. The aluminum is very thin. This allows it to be very very light, but also very flexible. IF you want to travel around a lot with your computer, the lightness factor is important. If you want a stiff-non-resonating case, look at the antec 3000B.

:thumbs up; Will be a quite case as long as you get a quiet power supply. You may want to look at Seasonic S12 430, or maybe seasonic S12 500, 600.

Antec Neopower is nice, but not really quiet. Its ok if you have louder components, but its main benefit is the modularity.

I have not seen any legible TruepowerII reviews. These are cheaper than the neopower but seem to boast higher specs on the 12V rails, and perhaps efficiency
