6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes. Been at this for a few weeks now. xD

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

Grand total is $914.90. I already have some thermal compound so I'm fine as far as that goes.

Comments, suggestions?

I only see a few complaints about the rebates on that OCZ PSU. Why do you need 700w anyways ? You're mobo can't do crossfire, or well, it will take a performance hit with crossfired HD4850's, up to 20% or so. If you want crossfire, spend a little extra on a x38 mobo. Or spend a little less and get a plain p35 mobo. Since you don't need 700w I'd rather get a quieter, modular unit, like a 520hx/620hx for example.

All in all the build looks good though, just a few things that I can merely nit pick on ;)

I'm getting this ASUS P45 mobo and ASUS HD4850 together for $30 off what would have been $350, so I'm paying $320. That basically means I'm paying 200 for the HD4850 (and still have the 30 MIR) and $120 for the mobo. Most P35 mobos are around $120 and even more expensive, and from what I've read, they don't overclock as nicely or have as many features as the P45 I've picked out. Unless I'm wrong, I think I'm gonna stick with the P45, even though it will only run 8x/8x in crossfire (I'll probably stay the single card route anyways).

I suppose it's fine with the combo. And p35 overclocks pretty good, but yeah, a p35 mobo that comes with a few features does indeed cost 120$ or more. That just leaves the PSU ;)

700W is overkill, but I want to try to "future proof" at least a few components in this system. I'm staying with the 700W in hopes that I don't have to get a new PSU the next time I upgrade in a couple years or so. =D

Thanks for all the help.
