It would be enough, but I think SLI from the beginning definitely not a good idea for 1080p. Buy one GPU, see how it goes, then if you're still wishing for more performance, buy another one.

Agree. Doing two GTX 770s just does not make sense at 1080p. If you have the budget for SLI, you better also have the budget for a 1440p monitor (~$350 at least, more like $500 for a non-Korean import).
