Pretty much its like Steam gifts, you start off with a lot of points, you spend them on bids. To get more you have to start give away's, I entered about 25 give away's I just won Torchlight so I'm very pleased with this site so far.

Enjoy all.

Bid on a few things. Some of which I really want, some which I'd be happy if I got but not disappointed if I don't.

Also posted 2 games up for bidding.

Hopefully Transformers: Fall of Cybertron turns up 😛

Do I get a free ipod also?

Troll less, pay heed more.

If this is legit my apologies, but come on, it certainly doesn't look legit.

It is like Steamgifts.com but the way you earn points to spend is different. I've won 2 games so far so I'm digging it.

FAQ:

1. What is Gala Giveaways?
Gala Giveaways is the new awesome IndieGala website where everybody can win great Steam games!
From AAA titles to indie gems, play with us and you can have it for free!

Seems to be some spawn of IndieGala, which is/are/was/were a legit indie bundle organisation of some description.

Either way, I'm 'selling' 2 games on there and despite ~25 bids, have not won a single thing.

For some reason its not doing anything when I post the steam page of a game to giveaway and click verify, odd.

I got in just fine, the spinning circle did take a while though. Left it alone for a while, went and did some house stuff, and it was done when I came back lol.

i've seen using it... i prefer steamgifts as the way to earn points is automatically

here you are forced to give games to have the points to have chances to win something.

The endless spinning thing may take longer if you have many games, cause i think that in that moment its scanning your games to give you the starting IGala points

I signed up late last night and started with right at 200k points. I bid on about 25 games right before bed, we will see if I win anything. Unfortunately I can't get to the website from work, so I won't know until I get home tonight.
