i came across this when i wondered how far we could be from seeing a 2nd gen G35... probably 2 - 3 yrs.

this is in light of the new BMW3, 4 door coming this year, but the coupe will be say 2006.

With me interested primarily in coupes, and not sure how the 3 will look (in person)

I started wondering if by the time the 3 series coupe is released, I'd be not to far of a wait from the 2nd Gen G35...

Here's a fun question. Does anyone have a link to numbers re: what percentage of G35's are sold with a manual transmission rather than an automatic?

20% mt

looks a little too altima/maxima-ish, but that's not so hard to fix by the time it gets to US market.

What's more interesting is the 4.1L 330HP, 6AT picture. I wonder how accurate this all is.

heh, somewhere in the thread it suggests those are just CG, which makes sense since the G35 just got a facelift/makeover and a couple years away from a redesign

Also, those engine pictures are of the current G35, I was just at the dealership this week looking at 05s.

Looks like they morphed the current G35 and Maxima.

looks more like they morphed a G35 and M35/45/Fuga
I agree, the rear is a slightly modified version of the current coupe's and the front end is obviously grafted on from the M/Fuga. This is just one of those magazine photoshops that will probably have no resemblance to the actual product.

this sedan looks better than the current sedan. The original coupe is always better than all else though.
