Season 1 was good, 2 was OK... I guess for every season first 1/2 where they are building the story, is kinda boring. But it really picks up in the 2nd half

I liked that they killed off some main characters ala GoT but there didn't seem to be any real point to it. Well, in the case of Jamal, it let them reveal that Ahmed's father was really Bassam - something they probably wouldn't have done were he alive. But killing the daughter didn't really get us anywhere except to have the mom go insane. Maybe that will be used in a future episode though.

You can see that they're trying to write a good story but they just don't have the chops.

I was hoping she would jump, instead of going to Germany for treatment. Don't like what she brings to the series at all--pretty much like his son.
They are trying to do too much, and forcing things down everyone's throats...
They are just lucky there is no other new show on at this time slot.
This season really needs to be the last one.

Can't say I heard any other series on FX say "fucking" before. I wonder if that was an accident / got by the censors?

2 episodes left...then hopefully it will be all over.

I caught up last night and this season is really bad. I'd be surprised if it gets picked up for another season. Ever since Jamal was out of the picture it's just been so dumb. They probably didn't expect it to last this long so they are winging it with an awful story.

And man, the sets in this show are SSSSSOOOOOOO bad. Same with costumes.

The first season ended up averaging a 0.55 rating with 1.55 million.

The second season of Tyrant saw a big drop and averaged a 0.37 rating with 1.18 million. The third season has fallen further still. It’s currently averaging a 0.20 demo rating with 791,000 viewers.

With such weak ratings, it’s no surprise that FX decided to cancel the series. However, there’s still a possibility that there could be a fourth season elsewhere.

In a statement, Fox 21 Television Studios President Bert Salke, said, “We feel the show is a gem and we’d love to find a way to keep it in production. That said, we want to be realistic about its prospects. So for its loyal audience, tonight’s episode will be a satisfying end should the series not find another home, but also provides interesting possibilities should we be able to continue on some other platform.”

LOL ... how the fuck was the season 3 finale a satisfying end? The whole episode felt like it was an episode in the middle of the season. There are so many things unanswered at this point. It's far from a satisfying ending.

Wait, screw that, time for the wife to want to get pregnant! "I need something to live for!", Sammy is a lost cause, so I want a child! Knock me up scene time!

Bring on a worthless Sammy scene! (Has this character brought ANYTHING to the series, besides being able to find other guys to sleep with?)

Queue the let's start a fight scene... ... Oh, so that is why Sammy came ...

Queue the mistress scene again, let's milk this for all it is worth!

Now, back to Sammy! He could be paralyzed!

We need more fighting, queue the speech on how we will win... queue the speech of 'American invaders!' ... queue the other speech of hope...

Back to the mistress, we got more milking to do, she has 10 million followers!

Where did the ending go? They showed a "Watch the complete 3rd sesaon, on FX NOW!", does that mean the ending is saved for that?

That's the exact feel that I got out of this season. They didn't have a story arc past the revolution. Its just terrible. I stopped watching halfway through this season.
