New forum idea

How about a "personal finance" forum.
example discussion topics:
- Home improvment
- Personal finance
- investing
- retirment planning
- career advice/planning

Something along these lines. Yes, this is what is done in off topic, but it would be nice to set these specifictopics off to the side a bit.

why not just post in OT? Don't forget that this IS a computer hardware discussion board, not off-topic.net. Home financing isn't exactly the most popular topic here. Don't be afraid to conform and post in ATOT.

I suppose I should add a reason as to why this would be a good thing.

We have people from all professions here. Some bankers, accountants, lawyers, etc. IT people, software people, engineers, unemployed, students.
The vastness of knowledge is incredible. The beuty is that people that come here actually know what they are talking about. People at finance only websites that go to forums are usually morons. The AT effect could make many of us well off! A special section would be great since the threads would notbe bumped down two or three pages so most people never knew they existed.

Great idea. Maybe we could get a Better Homes and Garden discussion board too and Martha Stewart could drop in on both of them and maybe do a live webcast once in a while.

What we really need is a forum that lists all the trolls and all there info.
