Do you think we can make a Gaming or Game Discussion category? There isn't really a place to discuss gaming except "Software - Apps" I suppose, not exactly fitting. Good idea? Bad idea?

It would be a good place for AT'ers to get together and play games together or interact and discuss.

Just go to a forum dedicated to Gaming.
 
I know it was discussed before but honestly, it doesn't really fit well in the Software section.

Is there a particular reason why? I think I've provided good reasoning for why a Gaming section could be used.

Discuss games, trade items in games, tips, strategy discussion, etc.

It's been requested. By people who have more credibility than a 3 week member who was probably permabanned on his other account.
 
What does it matter how long you've had an account for? You're not allowed to make a request or have an opinion? We're all adults, or I hope you guys are. Have some common sense and stop "newb bashing."

aplefka has a very valid point. The thing about credibility is inherent to any forum community--you're going to gain it with time. (Your suggestion is also less likely to get consideration if that topic's been discussed already.)

And for the record (since you prompted), not all of us are adults--I'm 14, for one, but I'm in the minority.
