No it's not. Saying that Ford should build a Focus on the MKII Focus platform is not the same thing as saying just give us the European Focus. Ford could build just about any car on the MKII Focus platform for the US and call it a "Focus" 😉
 
I kinda agree with the posters in the thread....it doesn't flow with the F naming convention for cars, unless they consider that a SUV, hence Edge. It kinda looks like a wannabe Pacifica, Escape size though.
