I'm currently on 158.24 (Vista 64), btw.
Is there a way or method that I can save my current game setting inside the Nvidia Control Panel Program settings?
I hate to do the new setting every time when switched driver.
I searched and looked but couldn't find one.
Any idea?

Search for nvapps.xml, I imagine you can save it and replace it after reinstalling the driver.

Thanks.

Pretty much all the games seem to run uneventfully i.e. no errors/hicuffs etc.
The 3dmark06 gains roughly 21 points over the last driver.

I have installed the 162.18's on my XP drive and I'm having some problems with 1360x768 32 bit resolution. The desktop has to scroll about and inch from side to side to see the whole desktop.

1024x768 and 800x600 (non widescreen) are ok. If I create a custom res like 1366x768 it only scrolls about an 1/16 of an inch side to side. I have gone back to previous version. However, the Vista install loves em.

Any one else using widescreen LCD TV's notice this?

Big problem with x64 too.
Same issue, the screen shifts either side and all texts look blurry.
Another POS from the Nvidiots and I've rolled right back to the previous 11/06 release.

Does your TV have an auto-calibrate function? I had to run it to fix the same problem . . .

No not under the menu options. There is a few selections like color temp, aspect ratio etc., no scaling options except 480p, 720p or 1080i

does anybody know of any fixes for an 8600gt running on Vista 32-bit, and connecting to a HDTV? Forceware doesn't recognize the set as a 1080p set though it is, but even when setting it to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz manually through Vista, the image is underscanned, and letterboxed top and bottom, as well as boxed on the left and right side too. The resize HDTV desktop option is there but it won't let me do anything with it. It says that the hdtv signal isn't supported or something.
