New folder in system32 folder

I wanted to make a copy of a file in the windows\system32 folder. I made a new folder called "01 Backup" or something like that and put the copied file in that folder so I would remember to copy it. I forgot to delete it and it is still in the system32 folder. I am now having this problem, is that folder the reason.

I was going to change the bootscreen and copied the "ntoskrnl.exe" file into that folder I made.

Now I have

"C:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe" and "C:\windows\system32\01 Backup\ntoskrnl.exe"

Is that why my computer won't get to the splash screen?

I'm not 100% sure that I actually made that new folder in the system32, I might have put it in "My Documents" instead, but I can't think of anything else I did yesterday when my computer was working fine.

Have you tried going to the Recovery Console and remove the "01 Backup" directory? You can also restore the original "ntoskrnl.exe" from the CD and see what happens.

I can't get the computer to do anything - boot from floppy or cd.

Is there any other way to get to the recovery console?

I was also thinking that if I could get into dos mode I could just delete the folder that way, but I can't boot into dos from floppy either. Is there any other way to do that?

The machine also isn't responding to F8 or F10

If you can't get into the BIOS or boot from floppy or CDROM something else is seriously wrong.
