Has anyone seen these new flat screen monitors from LG Electronics?

They look very nice and no lines on the screen like the Sony's!

I wish I hadn't bought a new monitor just this year.

Yes, they are fantastic!

I have the LG FLATRON 795FT PLUS (17") monitor and i have to say it looks great, with a RAMDAC of 360MHz from my MATROX G450 the 2D is soooo *good*!
This monitor, according to LG is the only one that is FLAT on *BOTH* sides...

I am doing 1024x768X32bpp @100Hz Refresh rate... :)

It can go Upto 1600x1200 on 77Hz.

Surfing and Word processoring is so nice on this monitor!

I love it!

Well, I went to China this summer, and bought the LG 775(or something similar) for my dad.

To me, it seems to use another kind of flat tube, like SamSung's tube. Not really as sharp as the Sony/Mitsubishi Trinitron/Diamondtron tube, but still looks very nice.

Yeah it's a supposedly nice monitor, combining the best parts of a AG monitor but without the lines. For me though, the lines don't bother me AT ALL. I'd rather have my superior refresh rates then no lines.

I'm not sure about the geometry on them though. Maybe if it was perfect then it would be an option for me over a AG monitor since pretty much all AG monitors have very slight geometry errors of some kind.

Oh, I don't think LXi visits the Video forum either...
