New Firmware Question for X25-M

I have a 1 month old system and just had someone install the newest firmware update for trim support for my x25-m 160 gb ssd but they never installed the SSD Toolbox....isn't it a good idea to install that and run the wiper tool I think I read on the forums somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Especially if you are NOT using Win7 for the OS.

sorry, I should have mentioned I am running Windows 7 x 64 bit. If I dont run the wiper tool any fragmentation I have incurred in the last month-up until the firmware was updated, will not be addressed the way I understand it.

Well it will be adressed the next time you write something to the according cells, but yes if you don't want that one read/write cycle you can use the toolbox and be fine..

I could think of more important things, but it won't harm either so just do it if you want to
