Just like anything else, Change always sucks until you get used to it.

Give it time, play with the settings, and see how it goes for a week or two as they work out the kinks.

Speed problems from yesterday got fixed. I changed back to the classic view because I couldn't stand seeing all the thread titles highlight/unhighlight as my cursor rolled down the list.

FW ditched fusetalk several years ago.

As for the redesign - there are parts that I like, and parts that i hate. But we're working on it to make it the best for everyone. The speed problems from yesterday are getting better, but aren't completely resolved yet. The new code platform has a lot more functionality, which eats up resources fast.
