new fan on powercolor x1950pro

the included arctic cooling accelero x2 fan sucks, its noisy, alot more noisy than the zalman i had on my 850xt-pe - and since the x1950pro uses less electricity i would also think that it would be easier to cool

however, my concern is, the original fan cools down the memory blocks on the card too, and zalman only has passive heat sinks for those - would that be sufficient? i have airflow in my chassis - not alot but some (3x120 in front 1x120 in the back)

the fan i want to buy is zalmans VF900-Cu

thanks in advance guys

Yes, the passive coolers for the memory work just fine. I have a Zalman on my X1600 Pro and it works great.
