Hey All,

I've got a barton 2500+ and I just can't seem to OC it without a lot of heat building up (going beyond 60 deg C during load) and it runs warm (high 50s) during an average load at stock speeds. Is there any fan/HS combo that's around 20 bucks and would be giving me enough of a boost from the AMD stock fan/HS? Noise isn't quite an issue as long as it doesn't turn my apartment's ambience into a factory. Also with Northbridge, my Mobo (MSI K7N2 Delta) has a HS on it I believe but I was looking to find a fan for it as I'd like to boost my FSB well over 200 if possible. Are these easy to find somewhere like newegg, or are these hard to find, difficult to install mods? I miss the good ol days, my 386 never needed a fan!

Thanks in advance!

As long as I choose manual setup, I can push the FSB to 225 I believe, which is well beyond what my heat will apparently allow at this time. Also AGP i think can be pushed up to 75, you just have to choose manual not SPD. What kind of HS/fan do you have and is your 2500+ locked?

Thanks for the reply!

Using stock HS/FAN....
what bios are you using?
isnt the K7N2 Delta only 333FSB "stock"?
Maybe I have my MB confused...
