The fan on one of my HD 6850's is making a bad rumbling noise and I think it's about to go. I can RMA it if I have to, because it is less than a year old, but I would rather just replace the fan. I really don't want to be without it for several weeks. I emailed HIS about a week ago and explained the problem to them but haven't heard back ... probably won't I'm guessing.
Anyway, has anybody got any suggestions? I checked out Newegg but didn't see a fan that will work on my card. Actually I just need a replacement fan and not the whole cooler, (I will RMA it before I buy a $50.00 heatsink/fan for it).
