new f drive?

I go into "My Computer", and there is a new VD Drive (F🙂 I try and open it, and it says to insert disc. But, I only have one optical drive in my system. Any ideas what it could be? I just noticed it today.

Could be a virtual drive created by a progam like Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.

Have you plugged in any USB storage devices lately? Those usually show up as Removable Disk F: but you never know. Installed any other software?

That's it! Thank you. I think it was from when I plugged my camera in, but it has never shown as a drive before and it didn't go away when I unplugged my camera.

Could Nero 7 could do this as well when I recoded a DVD?

I doubt simply recording a DVD would be the specific cause, but Nero 7 does have something called ImageDrive that is a virtual drive, which is what I was aluding to.
