I'm looking at getting a replacement eyepiece for my D70. The stock one isn't very kind to eyeglass wearers IMHO.

I was looking at the Nikon DK-6 or DK-3. Would I need an adapter or anything else to fit one of these onto my D70? If so, what else do I need?

the Dk-6 and Dk-3 wont wit on the D70 without some other things you will need 2 other parts to mount it correctly

as seen here

you can use this eyecup eith no mods at all it just hooks rigtht on, i use it because i lost the one that came with it

i thought about doing the DK-6 mod however teh parts for it will run you like 40$ for all of them

the eyecup i got cost like 6$ and it works much better then teh stock one

It has nothing to do with the diopter adjustment (my D70 has one). I'd rather not take my glasses off as it is an inconvenience when you're already carrying around a 2 lb camera and lense. With the stock eyecup, I just couldn't get a good "fit" with my glasses to the rubber eyecup.

With the shape of the one that Anubis mentioned, my glasses fit perfectly.
