Well like the summary says, it idles at 44C. I was ready for some cool temps, but as soon as i put any load on it the temp rises a lot, and fast. Within a few seconds it was 65, and it gradually rises to 79-80 where it levels off. This was with atitool, which reported no artifacts for 10 minutes. Similar temps were seen in benches, AM3 yielded a high of 79, 3DM03 81, and 3DM05 77.

Graph

Its stable, and produces good numbers (51,883 in AM3 and 3467 in 3DM05), i just dont like seeing the temp jump up 36 degrees.

What do you think?

I would say anything under 80C is acceptable.

I would just leave it.

If your really worried, try looping 3dmark for 20 min and scan for artifacts.

Test 4 in 03 works best for me.

Is that the troll one? Thats where it hit 81.

I only have the free versions of the above mentioned programs though, so i cant loop stuff. The only long term test i can do at the moment is using atitool.
