New evga 5900nu - Drivers

Too many great games in line here to play, some DX 8, some DX 9. I'm playing chaser right now with the 44.03 that came on the install disk and it's running great so I'm gonna leave em. Call of duty is next so I'll try a new forceware

i'm just curious what's been working for everyone for direct x 8 and direct x 9 games. I'll prolly experiment with em anyways but just wonder whats been looking good.

So are the 53.03's

I'm using the latest drivers from the Nvidia site with by 5900 without any issues.

Try the Det 52's from nVidia's site. A few sites (ExtremeTech, for one) have reviewed them, and all have proclaimed them a speed and IQ improvement.

Using the 53.03 set with my 5900nu clocked at 475/950, playing the below games with no problems:
Madden 2K4
NHL 2K4 (DX)
NBA 2K4 (DX)
Max Payne2 (DX)
COD (Open GL)
KOTOR ? OGL?
Gothic2 (DX)
All at 1280x960/4xAA/8xAF and good fps

CFS3 (DX)
IL2:FB (OpenGL)
LOMAC ? Open GL?
either at 1280x960 2xAA/4xAF or 1024x768 4xAA/8xAF, both good fps, not sure which I like better.

Edit: Also have Hidden&Dangerous2 and BF1942 installed, add to the 1280x960 list
