Getting an FF error on the onboard display.

Just built it today, brand new Mobo out of the box. Im loading Windows as I type this. However, I cannot get this code to go away. Everything seems to be working just fine. Anyone care to give me some insight on this error, well more insight than the manual provides.

On a side note I had some C1 errors. I move my memory from slots 1 and 2, to slots 3 and 4. This seems to have fixed that error.

FF code is not an error. It means everything is working correctly. I'm using 2 x 512mb sticks of Kingston HyperX in slots 1 & 2 and they work fine.

FF is not an error code. It tells you that everything went according to plan.

If you download EPoX's temp monitoring tool, it'll change the FF to the °C temp of the processor.

Thats awesome the manual reports code FF or CF as one of the following.

1) BIOS chip inserted incorrectly
2) Incorrect BIOS update version
3) Mainboard Problem
4) Add-on card inserted incorrectly

I remember this being a problem with the 8RDA+. FF either meant something was screwed up or all clear, the latter in your case.

Mine says FF, until I start stressing it, then it displays the CPU temp.... Pretty cool.
