I have one modem that is now connected to one ISA slot and an internal SCSI Zip drive that came with it's own adaptec SCSI card that is also ISA ... my new Epox 8KTA3 came with one ISA ... does that mean I will have to sacrifice one of these 2 !?
I have not educated my self on modems in a long time !! so I am assuming that they must have invented PCI modems ..and I am sure that will be your suggestion, if so please let me know what's a good modem to get, because I will always need to send faxes ...and I don't see myself sacrificing the Zip Drive... since I am sure there wont be a cheap enough SCSI card out there for it.
Thanks All

Yeah, I would say that you will have to get rid of one of them. I don't know any AMD motherboards that have 2 ISA slots. There are many PCI modems out there, but last time I checked, a lot of them were software based and slow. Have you thought about an external? I'd recommend a US Robotics if you were going to go that route.

You can find 2940 cards for about $50 if you look in the FS forum, 2940UWs can be had for about $100-150
