You can get CCE Basic for $58 now. If you use TMPGEnc and are dissapointed with the speed, this is the way to go. I think that CCE's pciture looks better too.
You can get it here. There is a demo available to try also. I am very happy with the results so check it out if you are looking for a faster option for MPG2 encoding.
