my friend taught himself to play, he hates them. of course his favorites are gibson les paul...

tough to compete with that.

i'm just a drummer though so my imput is meaningless :laugh:

I'm no fan of Mexican strats, but if he hates American strats, then your friend is a nut. I guess he enjoys the body being so heavy on that Les Paul and doesn't mind it diving towards the floor all the time.
 
is that an '03 strat?

i've been hearing some good things about the new mexican strats...medium jumbo frets, better fit and finish. the price is up to $400 on them now
