New Egg "Bait & Switch!"......

Been a GOOD Customer of New Egg for years, lots of moo laa, so they send me their SPECIAL Promo Code Prices on things once in awhile.....the other day was a 48 Hour Promo.....I could save $50 off the HT Speakers that I already wanted to buy.....so I enter the Promo Code in process of buying, .... cannot believe the reason their 'puter told me they could NOT accpt the Promo Code: "The email address you gave is NOT Valid with this Code".......BULL PUCKY! I called them about it and they said the only thing they could do is issue me a $50 Credit after the purchase.
I feel kind of "cheated", I should NOT have bought from them, BUT too late, I did anyway....in spite of the BULL PUCKY!

If the code is not working me ain't buying... I wouldn't even have bothered to call them. But you did and you got what was offered, I don't see the problem. Computer messed up, humans corrected. I dont see any value in creating this thread.

However I am starting to see a trend with this home audio products, I have read numerous people complaining about their JBL speaker deal and some other audio component, a AVR iirc...

Overall still a darn good company to do business with, I still bitch about them every now and then, create thread, but I will love them
