New Durons in an Abit KT7A?

I have revision I of this board. Can't find anything on Abit's site that mentions whether it'll take the new (Morgan) Durons. Descriptions of bios upgrades mention Athlons, and I know the 266 MhZ flavors of that aren't supported.

Thanks for the help.

I think since Duron use FSB 100Mhz it will not have any problem as
long as you have the multiplier setting on the bios, so in order to run Duron 1200Mhz
you have to have Multiplier setting 12x100 FSB.
But you have to reinstall the OS since Duron Morgan has SSE function otherwise it still will
work just fine but the SSE is not functioning yet.
if you plan to Use Duron 1300Mhz, I'm not sure if KT7A has multiplier 13 on the bios
or if not probably you can flash the bios

peace

THe new duron 1g uses the same core as the XP chips. Supposedly the XP chips don't work on a rev 1 KT7A Raid (which I own).

This board does support the 133mhz Thunderbird chips. I'm using one right now (unlocked 1g axia 7.5*133, I'm running it at 10*133, or 1300mhz).
