New Dune Series!

I just watched a trailer for the new Dune Series that's coming on SciFi Dec 3 and it looks pretty interesting to say the least. I'm a big fan of Frank Herbert's books though I'm not a huge fan of the Movie. I hope this is more faithful to the books.

My God, a TV miniseries with that kind of production quality is...bliss to Dune fans everywhere! Here's a well-deserved bump as to get people to watch this incredible trailer. I insist that somebody out there capture the series and encode it to DivX for all of us who don't get the SciFi network...

I read the first Dune book by Frank Herbert. It really thrilled me and when I got to watch the movie I was thoroughly disappointed.

I am so pysched for this Dec 3 showing by sci-fi.

If I have a cable line routed to my PC at home by Dec. 3 I will do the capture DiVX dance. Although I will need somebody to point out the steps to me, as I haven't done anything with video capture, but I am a bright boy so with a little direction I can figure it out.

Yep, sure am. Especially the cooperative multiplayer campaign option. It's about time that mode of play made a come back (it only took people 5 years to realize deathmatch blows).

About the new dune books..I think it's mostly comercial,after all Herbert is dead and I don't think anyone but him should write about Dune..
About Dune3,don't trust anything from westwood.Sure dune2 was the beggining of all real-time strategy games but after that dune2000 sucked and red alert 2 is of questionable quality...StarCraft is still king of rts games

To be honest I am not completely sure. I will have to watch it again to be sure, damn I just hate having to drag out that Balde Runner DVD and watch it again but some things you just have to do!

Fallout: You are a crackhead. RA2 is a great game, Dune2 was a great game, C&amp;C was a great game, RA1 was a great game. All were some of the best RTS's ever created. Why exactly would you not trust Westwood with another RTS? Because TS was of mediocre quality, is that it? Geee big deal they fed up on one game, did u think it might have been cause by the lead designer leaving before the game was done?


Face it WW makes some of the best RTS's put there. Much better than the Blizzard orcs garbage.
