The original movie is one of my all-time favorites and the source of many great quotes!

I'm not sure about this follow up movie but it looks humorous.

No, the Farrelly Bros are not directing this one. Troy Miller is the director. His "claim to fame" is the heartwarming story Jack Frost back in '98 (starring Michael Keaton).

Rumor has it that the producers wanted Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the creators of South Park) to direct it, but they turned it down.
 
Even though this movie wont be nearly as good as the first I am impressed with how much these two guys look like Daniels and Carrey.
 
I tried to watch it it, but stupid quicktime is fubar (no offense to foobar). Anyone got a non-quicktime version of it?

Read the Dumb & Dumber line \/ 😀 Not the greatest, but it's been there for a while.
 
ooh .. doesn't look to be as good as the first .. but its mindless comedy and lots of slapstick .. good enough for me
 
Having seen the first trailer and read this thread, I predict that if you want to see this movie in the theater make sure you go the first weekend. It won't last any longer.

The Hollywood mentality never ceases to amaze me.

What?!?!?!? That is lame lame lame lame lame lame lame!!! I hate it when they do that with movies. Call it a different name then you freaking morons. I wanted to see it, but now I do not.
 
I'll probably still see it just for the heck of it, but it would have been nice if Carey and Daniels were in it. It seems like movies always suck when someone is replaced.
 
I hope Eugene Levy can save it. They look like Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, but Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels look more like Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Did I catch a glimpse of the Even Stevens kid? Maybe some chicks making out will help it, but I don't know...

Online campaigns/petitions put an end to Divx (not DivX), some of them also forced movie studios to release DVDs in widescreen format when they were originally released in pan & scan only.

Online petitions put an end to Divx? I'm guessing it was more the fact that the companies weren't profiting enough from it.
