Hey,

I was reading up on X-bit labs, and yeah Tyan is releasing another dual Athlon MP board. This one should be cheaper since it has no onboard SCSI, LAN or Graphics, so it should be around $250US, anyways, here's the linkage:

And the release data is mid august.

I disagree, this should end up being a good board, it should have the features for the Enthusiast Dual CPU system, except maybe no ocing options.
 
Maybe one of you guys can tell me....

I'm about to buy some Registered Crucial RAM but... I was wondering if I end up not buying this board(slim chance) if other ddr boards will still take registered ram.

I know it will vary from board to board, but is it a commom thing to happen? That boards without Registered requirements will also take Registered ram?
