New Dsl modem with a problem

I just recieved a 2wire router/dsl modem from sbc. It works great except for one thing. When I try to load google on any pc on the network, it wont load. Sometimes it will but most of the time it wont. Every other website works for which i tried some. Each computer cant load google without problems and I would think it would be the modem.

Flush your DNS on your PC and you should be fine.

If you do not know the command, here it is:

Go to Start, Run or bring up the Command Prompt box ... then put: ipconfig /flushdns

Also like some sites firefox or IE will not stop loading even when the website is done, and after a while it will say some error like the operation timed out when attempting to contact pagead2.googlesyndication.com. How do i fix this.

Also i just switched from cable to dsl yesterday and this is the first its doing this, so cable didnt have this issue

Could try specifying the dns on the 2wire, or reset the 2wire and set it up again.

I figured out the problem. it's 2wire.
I have so many people hear at work complain about their internet at home and all of them have 2wire mode/routers. It seems to be a crap shoot whether you'll get a good unit.
