New driver's license in another state, still need to attend traffic school in CA?

If you have points on your license in Kahleeforneeya, they MAY show up on your new license...or may not.

MANY states accept the point erasure from traffic school. From this page:

it looks like DC also does this.

Be certain that you paid all related fines and costs, and that the information has cleared the Kahleeforneeya DMV prior to making application with the DC DMV.

If you've got tickets in CA, you need to take care of them. They'll show up on your CA license, but you still need to be responsible.

Since you are from DC, you can probably already shoot and drive, but you may need the refresher on being an indignant prick behind the wheel.

Well, I got the ticket in CA and I can take online traffic school, so it doesn't matter where I live. I just wonder if it will show up under the DC DL if I don't take the traffic school.

Your OP doesn't state that you haven't yet taken traffic school. I suppose we could ass-u-me that you haven't because you say only that you've paid for the school?

Your points WILL show up in DC because, like most states, they are part of the Interstate Driver's License Compact:
