Why a combo drive? Isn't it just added expence? Your DVD burner will do all your CD/RW work, so if you are just wanting a second drive get a cheap DVD-rom. Lite-on, Sony, Samsung, and others all make one under 20 bucks. I would go with the cheaper one unless you just like one brand over the other. I personally like Lite-on for most applications, so I might spend a couple more dollars to have it over the Samsung.
