New domain/hosting user

I couldn't resist the dirt cheap deal for a domain and hosting for a year and ended up buying it.

It's just a copy of the site I have with my university right now, but what could/should I do with it?

Do you guys develop your pages by hand or with programs like dreamweaver and the like? I wouldn't mind seeing examples of your own personal sites so I can steal your id.. um be inspired by your examples. Post your individual sites here!
