New DFI NF4-Ultra can't find CPU**Fixed**

Phew

My new system is as follows:

DFI NF4-Ultra mobo
A64 3200+ Winchester
2x512 Geil Ultra PC3200
OCZ Powerstream 520W
ATI X800XL
Thermalright XP-90 with 92mm Panaflo

I put everything together, turned computer on, all the fans spun etc. But nothing showed up on the screen, and the diagnostic LEDs showed the system was stuck before 'CPU Detected'. Why can't it find my CPU? The CPU is mounted properly and locked in place, heatsink is seated properly. No smoke smell when I first turned it on. The CPU fan is plugged into the right header. I used the 24-pin ATX connector, so the 4-pin 12V connector on the mobo was empty (this is correct, right?). I don't know what else it could be besides a dead CPU and/or mobo, and I would hate to have to RMA both.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It was that 4 pin connector power connector...now my IDE drives arent working, but thats another story
