They gave us injections in basic training without needles... air injection or something.
Not for all of our injections, though.

Hm, this looks fairly similar... what they used was a big gun looking thing.

LOL, I actually got a shot with something like this about 10 yrs ago when I was in college -- YES, just like star trek. It used pressurized air to push a measured dose through your skin. No needles.
