We've just received by e-mail what appears to be new detonators ver. 1.0.5.0 for Win9x dated 04/02/2001. We're not sure if they're real because of weird version number but early tests show good OpenGL performance and picture quality so we've decided to post them if you want to try them out. Remember, try them out at your own risk! Post your Results in the

Geekish thoughts read my replies before you reply next time. I said I did a search and nothing came up.

aniki: For your information, I did read your posts. I did a search, and found the thread I read this very time yesterday on these forums.

<Edit> BTW, I'm sorry if I offended you, or hurt your feelings in any way. 🙂 Consider this an apology if I did. </Edit>

I'm running them and they have no noticeable increase in speed or picture quality. I haven't benchmarked them yet though.

WOw no noticeable increase in speed and image!

BTW Geekish Thoughts...you said do a search and Im letting you know I did a search. Only I searched it as 10.50(what tweak3d.net called the drivers. All I wanted was input from people in regards to the performance of these drivers, not criticism for an honest mistake I made.

As far as I can tell, the 10.50s are for the NV20. I've gone through the INI file, and it definately has entries for the NV20)though no offical name for it yet). As for the numbering system, I'm willing to bet that the skip was because the NV20 was a major core change. Oh, and don't hesitate to get these drivers. They're stable, and as long as you can live with a slight D3D drop, you get some extra OpenGL performance, and a really good control panel(working sliders for OpenGL and D3D antialising, among other things.).

these drivers are from the wdm driver model for whistler build 2428...i think because when installed whistler, windows automatically detects my gf ultra and in the device manager, driver 10.50 shows up..
