New Dell Monitors

Over the last year or so, Dell has replaced all their dull grey servers, desktops, and notebooks (short of their eco line of products), to the sweet shiny black and silver. The only thing that hasn't really changed since roughly second quarter of '03 are the monitors. Anyone caught word of new monitors comin anytime soon from Dell? I'm eyeing that 2005FPW pretty hard, but if they are gonna sleek it up 2 months after i pick one up, im gonna cry myself to sleep. Anyway, didn't really know where to look, just curious if anyone had any information

Dell has been very dull with the look of their monitors, esp the lcd's. Dont expect them to go for major face lifts. Dell is very conservative in this area because of the corporate sector they sell in volume for.

I doubt there is a planned to do cosmetic upgrade on Dell LCD's in the very near future. As mentioned, Dell's biggest customer is the corporate world. Which always go for the lowest bidder. Just got my 2005FPW last week and as usual dull black/silver in color.
