hi - i just installed a new keyboard in my dell d505 after one of the keys broke. i bought a new one from ebay (same serial and part numbers) took the old one out, put the new one in and booted up - keyboard working, but after it gets past the loading bar for windows, it gets some blue screen and restarts everytime. please help!!!
 
Try taking the kb back off, and boot up with out it fitted on.

As long as you arent touching the top of the laptop, it shouldn't hurt anything. At the most, you'll get the same error.
