New custom comp ordered! Specs....

Okay this is kinda sad but I made a little excel worksheet. lol. It's watercooled.

Case: Lian-Li PC-65 with case window
HDD: Seagate Barracuda V 80 GB SATA (I don't use much space, considering my current HD is 20 GB)
RAM: Corsair XMS3200 512 "C" cause it's less picky with voltages
PSU: SilenX SX-400 E (400W). Since there was a special at silenx, i got the 14 decibel one instead since it's the same price as the 18
Keyboard: Logitech Elite Keyboard (corded since wireless lag-time in CS counts )
Mouse: Microsoft Explorer Optical, and an MX700 as a remote for movies
Vid Card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro OEM
Sound Card: on board
CPU: P4 2.8 800mhz FSB, going to clock it up some 500mhz or so for now
Mobo: ABIT IS7-G
Cooling: Asetek Waterchill with the Swiftech MCW50 GPU water block, along with case fans replaced by SilenX 80mm fans
Blue UV Dye has been ordered =)
18" rounded UV-reactive IDE cables
Green UV wrap ties
2 CCFL UV lights from FrozenCPU.com
Lite-ON DVD drive, Sony 32x10x40x (old drive being transplanted) --->going to stealth
Z-680 Speakers

Obviously, the theme here is silver and black with blue lights. Sound is also a BIG issue since i got dainty, sensitive ears. Um...yeah.....
This is my second personal comp ever. Last one I built 6-7 years ago.
There you have it! My new comp. Hopefully all the parts will come before I leave to college....

I'll post pics once i get it up and running

Dude onboard sound w/680's c'mon now.....? Besides that, that is a really cool system nice pick

great system, i would also spring for the audigy 2 since everything else is top notch.

also, i would get an antec PSU. you are running a lot of expensive gear

Thanks for the posts.

Isn't the onboard 6 channel sound on the ABIT IS7-G supposed to be amazing?

Hm...I guess i can always pick up an audigy 2 with the Samsung 191T and another stick of ram......but that's not for this year.

I know this comp is under 1800...which isn't too bad with the Asetek and 9800 in there

If you're looking for a quiet and good PSU, get the Zalman 400W instead. The Audigy2 OEMs are cheap (ca $70).

Dunno about you but I got to use about 1/3rd of my equipment during college hehe. I think most of my resources were dedicated to these CPU/Memory bandwidth monsters named, MSWord, WinAMP, CuteFTP, gVim, and my trusty java decompiler. Needless to say I was so glad I got that 1gb of RAM! </sarcasm>

Hehe not dogging on your system just saying how jealous I am and how much I never played with my toy at school... it was sad.
