New CS:S Militia level looks freakin amazing.

Graphics have some of the sharpest textures I've ever seen. Also has HDR.

Here's a few that I took. Kinda looks like a nature show:

Tree leaves meet the sun at T spawn.
Excellent lighting below.
Detailed grass and excellent lighting in the open.
Nice foliage.
Water and HDR mingle on the rocks.
Path to CT.
HDR owns the ladder.
Poly power sticks it to the bridge.
Waiting for Santa in June.

In game settings
1280x1024 with most settings on High, except following changes:
4xAA (Nvidia doesn't do 6xAA)
Vsync Disabled

Driver settings
Most settings at Default, except with following changes:
High Quality Image Settings
Gamma Correct Anti-Aliasing On
Mutli-Sampling Transparency Anti-Aliasing
Clamp Negative LOD Bias

It just doesn't play right with all the trees and the two chimneies blocking the crucial sniping spot.
It was used to be an old school snipe war with very few areas to hide.
Now the map becomes guerilla warfare.

My frame rate cried when I tried to play that. And you can kill the fish. I got slayed for trying to hunt fish in the river while the rest of my team died.

I wondered why there wasn't a cs:s militia level. I played militia 24/7 way back in the day of beta 7-1.2 I quit playing after 1.3 came out until source.

Yeah. The level is gorgeous but my 9800 Pro can't play it too well. Also, the sound effects of the footsteps inside the house are great!

There was a User made map of Militia that was pretty good, pretty close to the original with extra details. What I like about this particular version though is that it keeps the basic layout, but puts it into a totally different place.
