for me anyway.

Story is my brothers system was too slow so he ordered some parts and had them shipped to my house so I could build it.

Well the build fee is seti and here is what showed up from newegg yesterday
Epox 8rda motherboard
2 sticks of 256meg PC 2700 DDR Crucial
XP-1800 retail
Radeon 9700pro
Antec case, mid tower .

Well I have it running at 2100+ (1743mhz) on a 166bus and got the following times in the last 8hrs

times were
0.701 2hr48min
0.716 2hr48min
0.418 2hr49min
0.482 2hr48min

I'm using the retail heat sink and don't dare crank it up any more. Half tempted to switch my swiftec MC-462 for his retail and crank it up more (naaa I'll save it for my projects)

Couldn't leave well enough alone bumped it up one more notch to 2200+ or 1826mhz on a 166bus (figure if amd calls it an 1800 it shoud be 1800 :D)

Results so far
0.437 2hr43min
1.402 2hr24min
5.437 2hr22min
6.321 2hr22min
0.408 2hr46mn
1.091 2hr33min

Not a big increase but not bad. Going to have to buy some more of these

Sounds good! I have seti installed on my sisters computer. But I always have to watch what I do/say so I dont make her mad and uninstall it.
