My new 8RDA+ is running & crunching seti, currently doing 10 x 215fsb with 5-2-2-2 timings :D

It's done a few WU's while I have been configuring it, getting times a little over 2 hr / WU.
Once I get the vid card installed right I will tweak on the OC some more, seeing what I can get out of this setup ;)

I put my Geforce2 GTS in there and can not get it to install right.
Ive reinstalled WindowsXP a few times now, wiping all nvidia files out first then reinstalling everything.

It first tries to install with the Msft driver, but says the device can't start.
I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the card & updating the drivers. No good.

Any ideas on this last sticky issue would be great, thanks!!!

I wouldn't expect that card to have any difficulties running on the native drivers in XP.

The first, and most obvious step is to put your speeds/volts/BIOS settings at stock.

If you are still having difficulties, the next thing would be to ensure you have used the proper mobo drivers.

There really isn't anything else in your control that would affect a healthy video card.

If it won't run with stock settings, native XP drivers and proper drivers installed, either the card or mobo is broken.

Yeh, what Insidious said.
Do you have another machine to retest the card in?
Good luck!!!

I have the same card in my 8RDA+. and i waited to install the graphic drivers until after SP1, nforce drivers, Windows Update.

No problems there..

Running version 44.03 of graphic drivers, 2.03 nforce driver, no nforce IDE driver installed.

Soni, same here. Just says the device can not start.

The card was running perfectly in my A7N8X Deluxe. I pulled it out of there and put it in my 8RDA+ and although I get video - currently at 800 x 600 x 32 bit color on a small little monitor - however the drivers don't seem to matter. I've tried several different ones, and reinstalled WinXP a few times. The Device can not start. :|

That what I get for the modem I bought to put in my 8RDA+, really annoying especially when trying to run a DC project that requires a net connection. I probably should try a different PCI slot, but the case has cheap knock out PCI covers.

I'm thinking I'll uninstall the GF2 and put in an old TNT2, see if that installs ok hen pull it out and put the GF2 back in.
Sometimes you can get lucky this way, I remember doing similar things before with some success.
