Well,... I brought a new cruncher online tonight 😉 Sad to finally retire the old K6-2 500 (oc'd to 550) it served me well for many many years, but it was falling apart,... literally. So far so good on the new machine,.. nuthin' fancy (Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M, skt754 2800+, 512mb HyperX PC3500, Lite-on 52x CD, and an 80gb WD hd all mounted in a Super Lanboy) temps are ok, 104 f. at 100% load and 88 f. idle. Dunno about the blue lights, but it is nice and quiet. Now if only I could OC it (no PCI/AGP lock) :frown: Seems slower than my A7N8X Deluxe 2500+ oc'd to 3200+,... thought the 64 would have an edge over the OC'd XP,.. oh well.
 
Yes,.. seems to be pretty nice so far,... just had an itch for an inexpensive upgrade from the K6-2
Seti,... Boinc as of the new year.
