hey, how ya'll doing? I've been "contributing" to the rc5 effort for a few days now, and a day or two ago I finally figured out the complicated task of clicking the 'send me my password' link so that I could join TA team.
But I have a seemingly simple question: without buying a computer network or trying to figure out linux again, what can I do to my computer to boost my cracking rate. I've already oc'd to 983 from 800EB, but anything else?

A big Team Anandtech welcome to you! The big keyrate killer is fancy screensavers. Use the blank-screen one for best keyrate. Another one I've heard is 16-bit/DOS apps being left running on Win9x comps, like point-of-sale computers that use DOS-based sales/inventory software.
