Help! Computer Newbie (relatively) here.
My current pc has a Celeron 2.5 Ghz (that was the ad, but I'm pretty sure it's 2.4) bought 'cos the package was dirt cheap. Thinking of replacing the CPU with an athlon or similiar, and what I really want to know is, Is replacing the cpu a big deal? whats the procedure? will I need a new motherboard or anything? Could I do it myself?
 
if it takes an intel CPU,it won't work with an AMD cpu. on that note,i think its best you just leave the computer alone and not void any warranties 🙂
