new cpu release dates?

Is there any way of finding new cpu release dates and prices before they show up in retail on sites like newegg? It would be handy in making the decision about what cpu to get for new builds. Probably not else I'm sure they would already be posted here.

wikipedia has always been the most accurate, people just corrolate things from all over the web.. It had the most info about all the latest cpus and video cards, updated as soon as new reliable data is added...

"The lowest priced dual core will sell for US$169, while the most expensive one, which will be clocked over 3GHz, will sell for only US$268." I see Dual core there. From what i know, the most expensive quad core will be the QX9770. They say they will soon jack the price up to $1,390 instead of $900.
