Hey, quick question regarding replacing a CPU.

If I swap out my old one and put the new one into my MoBo, will my HDD read it or do I have to uninstall anything before I do so?
 
no, you dont have to reinstall windows, or anything. what cpu are you upgrading from/too? what motherboard?
 
Your HDD won't care.

Your motherboard BIOS might, so you need to see if your BIOS version supports the CPU you will be getting. If not, then see if there is a BIOS update.
